It all started with a desire for more—more visibility, more opportunity, and more love for the Welsh MOBO scene. And from that spark, Clwb Orange was born.

Launched in 2024, Clwb Orange is a bold and creative platform championing MOBO (Music of Black Origin) artists across Jazz, R&B, Neo-Soul, Blues, Motown, Alt-Rap, and Spoken Word—from Wales to the world.

Our mission is simple:
Shine a light. Build community. Break boundaries.

We’re here to elevate underrepresented voices, connect creatives with industry pathways, and grow spaces where artistry thrives—bridging the gap between Wales and the global stage.

With immersive storytelling and visually striking, theatrical staging, every Clwb Orange event is designed to leave a lasting impression—whether you’re in the room or tuning in online.

Proudly led by a Black woman, Clwb O stands for real representation. We actively challenge colourism, sexism, and the barriers that still exist in the creative industries today.
